Ingredients1 1/2 cup butter or butter flavored
Crisco2 c. granulated sugar
3 eggs
2 tsp
vanilla1 tsp lemon extract
the zest from one lemon
1 cup lemon head candy, crushed
5 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
Lemon Glaze Ingredients
1 cup powder sugar
juice from one lemon
DirectionsCream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and lemon extract. Add lemon zest, lemon head candy, flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Roll into balls and place on a cookie sheet with parchment on it (YOU MUST USE PARCHMENT PAPER). Flatten the cookie dough balls slightly. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350. After the cookies are baked, leave them on the pan for 2-3 minutes then glaze with lemon glaze. Remove from pan and let cool on cookie rack. Serve!
